Hummingbird Hill is the name of my farm. I moved here in July of 2007 to get away from the burbs. Coming with me were my husband Kevin, one dog Spot, one cat Casper and three horses, Spunky, Whinnie and Wizard. We have since acquired three more dogs, Elvis, Graceland and Skippy, a Percheron named Buck, another cat, Colonel Parker and currently twenty three alpacas. Hummingbird Hill gets its name from the large population of Hummers that moves in each spring.
Awwwwwwwwwwww.
ReplyDeleteCutie-pie warm noses.. schniggle,snuggles.
whinnying back!
They are saying "where is my treat?"
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how differnt horsie noses are? I love all horsie noses, so soft with such nice, sweet smelling breath.
Sweet noses on sweet faces , they don't look bothered by the snow
ReplyDeleteHorsie noses are so kissable. Tons of smooches for the babies.
ReplyDeleteBaby cria is so cute in it's coat.
The first pic reminds me of the one of my mare Snooooofing the camera. I think I sent it to you, if I didn't let me know.
ReplyDeleteSoft horsie noses and sweet horsey breath. Truly the things that make us love them so.
CNJ, no I don't think you did send it.
ReplyDeleteI love horsie noses, they say so much with them. Nothing like getting nuzzled with a fuzzy nosie and soft, sweet horsie breath on your face.
I will work on Buck/Spunky nosies, need to wait until after they have eaten though, LOL!
Just passin' by. I needed some cria comfort.
ReplyDeleteThanks CCC!
GL,
ReplyDeleteAll the pacas know they have to be on their cutest behavior so that Aunt GL will have pics she can visit and oooohhh and awwww at!
CCC- It's on its way! Yay cell phone cameras.
ReplyDeleteGame on then?
ReplyDeleteLove horsie noses!! Horse noses are like humpback whale tails. Each one is like a fingerprint, unique and special to that horse. Oh, thanks for posting these. love 'em.

CNJ, you are on girl. Will have to wait till the weekend, K?
ReplyDeleteGL, that is Caitlin, the Superhero Paca Mom. Tip is hers, she had monster cria at the age of 13. She is also the mom of Currency, the large fawn colored girl who weighed 25 lbs at birth and tips the scales at 200lbs now and she isn't preggers. Caitlin has some super dooper momma milk doesn't she?
As far as the word verfs, well, it is just a special talent I have!
You are surrounded by cuteness! Pony noses, pacas and crias, they are just darling!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Kestrel. Glad you stopped by to see the new cria, she sure raised the cuteness factor around here.
ReplyDeleteOh, the cuteness meter exploded ages ago.
ReplyDeleteThere just isn't a scale large enough for this level of cuteness.
We have to think of a new superlative for this...
let's see.
(waves magic wand over word verf)
humpfh.
ReplyDelete"nogist".
Even word verf is a critic.
