Some new pics from today. It was a lovely day, sunny and about 62. We have snow moving in tomorrow night and Saturday and some really cold temps, well that is cold for us.

Hummingbird Hill is the name of my farm. I moved here in July of 2007 to get away from the burbs. Coming with me were my husband Kevin, one dog Spot, one cat Casper and three horses, Spunky, Whinnie and Wizard. We have since acquired three more dogs, Elvis, Graceland and Skippy, a Percheron named Buck, another cat, Colonel Parker and currently twenty three alpacas. Hummingbird Hill gets its name from the large population of Hummers that moves in each spring.

- I live on a 30 acre hobby farm with 4 horses, 3 dogs and 2 cats. We call the farm Hummingbird Hill because in the summer, we are inundated with the little buggers. I work full-time in an OB/GYN office which drives me crazy. Would love to work part-time so I could enjoy my horses more, but hey, gotta pay for their chubby butts.

ReplyDeleteI love those shots too. I am always happy when they come out clear, the little nippers can move pretty fast. I delete far more than I keep.
ReplyDeleteThe second pic from the top is Drizella, Shannon's mom. Kevin said when he introduced Kerry into the herd, she acted like she wanted her to be her baby. Made me cry, poor thing!
