CHARLES CITY COUNTY VIRGINIA!
This is Fort Pocahontas where the hunt was this week.
There was a civil war battle here, I beleive in 1864. If you look at the pictures of the house, you will see the embankments that were built up. That house was not there at the time of the battle. Mr. Tyler who owns the property had the house moved from Ivor via semi-truck. It was built at the same time as the one that was originally here, 1732. The view from the house is spectacular, that is the James River. The pilings you can see in one pic are from the original dock, amazing that they are still there.
