Hummingbird Hill is the name of my farm. I moved here in July of 2007 to get away from the burbs. Coming with me were my husband Kevin, one dog Spot, one cat Casper and three horses, Spunky, Whinnie and Wizard. We have since acquired three more dogs, Elvis, Graceland and Skippy, a Percheron named Buck, another cat, Colonel Parker and currently twenty three alpacas. Hummingbird Hill gets its name from the large population of Hummers that moves in each spring.

- I live on a 30 acre hobby farm with 4 horses, 3 dogs and 2 cats. We call the farm Hummingbird Hill because in the summer, we are inundated with the little buggers. I work full-time in an OB/GYN office which drives me crazy. Would love to work part-time so I could enjoy my horses more, but hey, gotta pay for their chubby butts.

ReplyDeleteFern, that is CHPA Anastasia, otherwise known as Annie. She is Clare's mom as well as Little Annie, the very dark brown one.
ReplyDeleteThe other head shot is Currency, she is the largest paca that we have. She weighed 25 lbs at birth.
OMG! The black and white has an adorable yet distinguished face. And yet looks so stoic.
