More snow falling today. This is much wetter, heavier snow than what we had last weekend. Sticking to the trees which are very wet from all the rain we had last evening. That could cause some problems with breaking branches and power lines down. I just got a lesson from Kevin on firing up the generator because he is working this evening.
These are just a couple of pictures taken from the back porch. The birds are enjoying their feeder. Cardinals are so pretty against the snow.

Elvis is showing his extreme handsomeness against the snow and I think there is a coyote who wants to come in and take a nap on the couch.

ReplyDeleteI am glad Kevin showed me too. This generator is much bigger than the one we had at our old place and is hardwired into the electrical panel. It also has an electric starter, our smaller one that we brought over from the old house has the old pull cord thing. Kinda scary that if you do it wrong, you could burn the house down. Oh well, if the power goes out and you don't hear from me for a few days, assume that I did it wrong and am living in the barn.
I love Cardinal! I had never seen one till I was in Ontairio ,but I love them. Elvis, you handsome devil you!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I put out a bird feeder in the back for the dogs to watch. I can see them from my desk and so enjoy them. I am saving my bacon grease to make my own suet.
