Hummingbird Hill is the name of my farm. I moved here in July of 2007 to get away from the burbs. Coming with me were my husband Kevin, one dog Spot, one cat Casper and three horses, Spunky, Whinnie and Wizard. We have since acquired three more dogs, Elvis, Graceland and Skippy, a Percheron named Buck, another cat, Colonel Parker and currently twenty three alpacas. Hummingbird Hill gets its name from the large population of Hummers that moves in each spring.
panting first??
ReplyDeleteYES!!!
ReplyDeletehahahahahahahaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ahem..
Nice pics.
Pacas must be loving it, I bet:)
Wizard? I'm guessing, my bad. Cat/Cami got meall messed up:(
Love the expression. WTF?? Hey, Mom, it's all white??
Yes, Wizard, the shaggy beastie. He was waiting for his feed. I wanted to get a pic of Whinnie, but she was being such a biatch that I deleted the ones I took. I am lucky to have gotten the one of Wizzie, she can be so mean to him.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the snuffles Whizzie gives you looking for carrots!
ReplyDeleteand the pacas in the snow- do they play and buck- and run around, like horses and dogs?
Paddy,
ReplyDeleteThe crias do and even a couple of the older ones will pull of a few pronks too.
Wizzie is definitely a pocket pony. He was actually supposed to be a pony, damn is a small TB mare and sire is a medium Welsh. Wizzie was the first breeding of the two. He ended up at 15 hands. His two full sisters are medium ponies and doing very well on the circuit up in New York I believe.
