I HAZ NEW CRIA!!







Drizella finally gave birth. My daughter and I went out to feed about 8:00 PM after a very lovely TG dinner and I could tell Drizella was in labor, it was really obvious . I actually got to watch this one being born.
These pics are very shortly after she was born. Yes, I said she, Yaaa Hooo!

    She looks like a shadow, so black! Talk about spindly legs. She reminds me of Jack from The Night Before Christmas animation. Very, very cute. What a relief to have her on the ground, I bet!

    It is official, new cria's name is HHF Shannon.

    Her barn name is Gobbles though. Rather appropriate since she was born on TG and it is cute.

    We will be putting Artemus back out tomorrow to see what Caitlin does and possibly to breed with Annie again.

    I will get more pics up then. Unfortunately, it is too soon to put Drizella and Gobbles back out and we will be having crappy weather again Monday PM.

    Oh, my wonderful brother did some great electrical work, so I have more lights and outlets to plug in the heated buckets for winter. YEA for Chuckybird!!
