Hummingbird Hill is the name of my farm. I moved here in July of 2007 to get away from the burbs. Coming with me were my husband Kevin, one dog Spot, one cat Casper and three horses, Spunky, Whinnie and Wizard. We have since acquired three more dogs, Elvis, Graceland and Skippy, a Percheron named Buck, another cat, Colonel Parker and currently twenty three alpacas. Hummingbird Hill gets its name from the large population of Hummers that moves in each spring.

ReplyDeleteI remember the t word. The c word came after a reference to Hummer Hill.
I really asked for it:)
It really is so very beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI really don't like that word, so I apologize for that.
We do love it so much here. The back porch is just the best place. We watch the birds, the deer and turkey and even thunderstorms from there. We put in ceiling fans that make it real pleasant even when it is really hot. It is a bit hard to see in this pic, but there are six sets of sliding glass doors that lead out to the porch, so the view is great whether you are inside or out.
The people we bought the place from designed it in conjunction with an architect to be their dream home.
