Hummingbird Hill is the name of my farm. I moved here in July of 2007 to get away from the burbs. Coming with me were my husband Kevin, one dog Spot, one cat Casper and three horses, Spunky, Whinnie and Wizard. We have since acquired three more dogs, Elvis, Graceland and Skippy, a Percheron named Buck, another cat, Colonel Parker and currently twenty three alpacas. Hummingbird Hill gets its name from the large population of Hummers that moves in each spring.
Wisteria has blue flowers? Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a beautiful place, CCC.
It's gorgeous. What a neat entrance to your home/yard. Was it there when you moved there, or did you put it in? I'm curious how long it takes to get one looking so lovely. (I can smell it from here...)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!

ReplyDeleteIt was here when we moved in but not looking near this nice. I started feeding it on a regular basis and it has done alot better. I am not sure how long they take. Next time I see the former owners, I will ask how long it took it to climb around the trellis like that.
Beautiful. Nice entrance to the house. I love Wisteria.
ReplyDeleteI am going to replace that ugly storm door one day and gussy up the front entrance. I hate the stuff they use to trim the little windows, it always gets yellowy. I have found that it can be painted. What I want to do is paint the main door and the area around the little windows a soft hunter green and get a green full glass storm door with a brass handle. I would also replace the handle on the main door with a nice brass one. Then I want to replace the porch lights with nice brass ones. All in good time, need to focus on those Alpacas for now.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, what a beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. So warm and inviting- be right over.
ReplyDeleteCCC It is beyond beautiful...Oh and you will have mail in about 2 minutes.
ReplyDeleteI luz Gator Dog.
Thanks everyone. Wish I could have everyone over for a cookout.
ReplyDeleteCCC,
ReplyDeleteLooks like a postcard! I'm green with envy. It's very warm and inviting and that must be a reflection of its owner. :)
